Bhubaneswar, Dec. 18 -- Cold conditions continue to grip Odisha as a biting cold wave sweeps across all regions of the state. Plunging temperatures have disrupted normal life, making it difficult for people to step out of their homes during early morning hours.

According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the cold wave is likely to persist across Odisha, with dry weather prevailing over the next week. As there is no indication of any significant rise in temperatures, the state is expected to witness cold nights and chilly mornings in the coming days.
