Bhubaneswar, Dec. 22 -- Cold conditions across Odisha are likely to intensify further from Christmas onwards, with the Bhubaneswar Meteorological Centre forecasting a fresh spell of colder weather beginning December 25.
According to the forecast, the cold wave is expected to strengthen due to an increased flow of dry, cold north-westerly winds over the region. Meteorologists also attributed the anticipated drop in temperatures to the departure effect of a western disturbance, which is likely to lead to a further fall in night temperatures across the state.
