Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi returned to his ancestral village, Raikala in Keonjhar district, and entered his renovated family home after performing traditional puja rituals. The modest tiled-roof house, which had fallen into disrepair over the years, has now been restored with basic renovations.

This marks the Chief Minister's first homecoming since assuming office, and the occasion drew emotional responses from local villagers. His grandmother was seen seated at the house entrance, while dozens of villagers waited in anticipation to welcome the CM and witness the symbolic 'griha pravesh' (housewarming) ceremony.
