Bhubaneswar, Jan. 5 -- A violent clash broke out between two groups in Gobagaon village under Chandipur Police Station in Balasore district following a dispute over extortion money. The situation escalated rapidly, leading to chaos in the area. Allegations have surfaced that blank rounds were fired during the confrontation, intensifying panic among locals.

Acting on CCTV footage collected from the area, Chandipur police launched an investigation into the incident. Based on the visual evidence, two individuals have been detained for questioning as part of the ongoing probe.
