Bhubaneswar, Feb. 5 -- The Chennai Central Express derailed near Jakhapura railway station in Odisha's Jajpur district on Thursday, with three coaches slipping off the tracks. Railway officials said there were no reports of any passenger casualties in the incident.

A rescue and restoration team was immediately dispatched from Bhadrak to the site to assess the situation and carry out necessary recovery operations. Railway authorities are monitoring the situation closely, and efforts are underway to restore normal train services.

The cause of the derailment is yet to be ascertained, and further details are awaited.
