The Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari announced that the Chandikhole-Paradip corridor in Odisha will be completed by December 2026, reducing travel time from two hours to one. The project aims to drastically improve logistics efficiency and economic connectivity to the eastern coast.
Gadkari made this announcement during his Odisha visit on Thursday while speaking at a meeting at Baramunda in Bhubaneswar.
"Chandikhole-Paradip eight lane economic corridor spanning 77km worth Rs 4000 crore will be completed by December 2026. It will reduce travel time from two hours to one," said Union Minister Gadkari.
