Bhubaneswar, Jan. 27 -- CCTV footage related to the recent Swachh Sabari vehicle accident in Puri town surfaced on Tuesday, bringing the actual sequence of events into the public domain.

The video, which has gone viral on social media, has shed light on how the accident occurred and clarified several unanswered questions surrounding the fatal incident.

According to sources, the accident had occurred on the 24th of this month in Red Cross Road area of Puri. The injured person is currently undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Bhubaneswar.

The victim was then identified as Manoranjan Dash, a retired bank officer. On the morning of the incident, Dash had stepped out for a walk when he was hit by the Swachh Sabari vehicle.
