Bhubaneswar, Nov. 23 -- The Supreme Court on Monday (Nov 23) informed that it will hear the plea by some students of CBSE (Central Board Of Secondary Education) on Dec 6, seeking the board to retain their original marks obtained in the board exams through alternative assessment. These students had earlier sought for improvement exams in the offline mode after the board had declared their marks using the 30:30:40 evaluation policy.

As per the plea filed by the students, they have either been declared failed or have been awarded very less marks after the improvement exams, when earlier they had been declared pass during the alternate assessment.
