Bhubaneswar, Jan. 30 -- A high-speed car accident at Ainthapali in Odisha's Sambalpur district late on Thursday night caused extensive damage to a four-wheeler, with the impact of the crash flinging the vehicle's engine nearly 100 feet away.
Despite the severity of the collision, the driver narrowly escaped without sustaining any life-threatening injuries. No casualties were reported in the incident.
According to preliminary information, the four-wheeler crashed into an electric pole near Adarsha Marg. The force of the impact completely damaged the front portion of the car, causing the engine to be ejected from the vehicle and land almost 100 feet away on the opposite side of the road.
