Bhubaneswar, Jan. 3 -- A terrifying road accident was reported from Kandhamal district on Saturday afternoon when a car and a Bullet motorcycle collided head-on near Dungi under the Tikabali police station limits. The impact was so severe that both vehicles burst into flames at the spot, sending shockwaves through the area.

The bike rider and his brother, who was riding pillion, sustained serious injuries in the crash. They were rescued from the scene and first taken to Tikabali medical centre. As their condition was critical, both were later shifted to Phulbani Medical College and Hospital for advanced treatment. The car driver, however, narrowly escaped without major injuries.
