Bhubaneswar, July 27 -- A state-of-the-art cancer hospital will be set up at National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER) campus in Bhubaneswar, informed Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Tuesday.

An amount of Rs 650 crore has been approved for the hospital out of which Rs 250 crore will be contributed by Tata Trusts and the remainder Rs 400 crore will be contributed by the Union government.

A three-year target has been set for the completion of the project for which the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship will provide an additional 10 acres of land.
