Bhubaneswar, Feb. 8 -- Burglars allegedly broke into a locked house and made away with cash and gold ornaments worth over Rs 1 lakh at Patapur village under Udala police station limits in Odisha's Mayurbhanj. The incident targeted the residence of local villager Banoj Badhei.
According to sources, the burglary took place when no one was present at the house, as family members had gone out to attend a Bathudi cultural programme. On returning home late at night, they were shocked to find the house lock broken and clear signs of forced entry.
