Bhubaneswar, Feb. 5 -- Odisha Governor Raghubar Das on Monday addressed the first day of the Odisha Assembly's Budget Session. In his address, Das highlighted that the state government is implementing the JAGA mission to provide land rights and transform the slums into 'Adarsh' colonies.

Over 2.40 lakh slum families have been granted land right certificates. The state government is also transforming slums into Adarsh colonies with required infrastructures, amenities and services at par with the rest of the cities, he said.
