Bhubaneswar, April 12 -- After the much-needed relief from scorching heat due to Nor'wester (Kalbaisakhi), brace up for hotter days as temperature across Odisha is likely to rise by 6-8 degree Celsius, predicted the weather department.

While the maximum temperature remained below 32 degree Celsius in most places across Odisha, the IMD has predicted the return of hotter days again with the rise in day temperature by 6-8 degree Celsius in the next four days.

Nor'wester rain provided respite from the continuous heatwave conditions across several districts in the state. The maximum and minimum temperatures dipped marginally in the last couple of days owing to the rain.
