Cuttack, April 18 -- BJD supremo and Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik today accused the BJP government at the Centre of conspiring to stop the KALIA scheme in the State. Addressing a public meeting at Badamba in Cuttack district, Patnaik said all farmers will be provided with financial assistance of Rs 10,000 (two instalments) on the first day of forming government in Odisha.

Highlighting the welfare projects of BJD, Patnaik took a dig at the BJP by reiterating that women are the real double engine of development. BJP heavyweights are speaking of the double engine but people of Odisha want to know who is their engine in Odisha, questioned Patnaik.
