Bhubaneswar, Dec. 15 -- The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Monday announced key organisational appointments for the upcoming assembly elections in two states, naming National Vice-President and MP Baijayant Panda as the party's election in-charge for Assam.
Union Minister Piyush Goyal has been entrusted with the responsibility of overseeing the BJP's election campaign in Tamil Nadu.
According to the official announcement, BJP National President Jagat Prakash Nadda appointed Baijayant Panda as the Election In-Charge for the forthcoming Assam Assembly elections. The appointment has come into immediate effect.
