BJD leader Dillip Nayak picked up by EOW after raid at his Cuttack residence

BJD leader Dillip Nayak was picked up by the Economic Offences Wing (EOW) after a raid at his Badambadi residence in Cuttack on Friday.

Following questioning and verification of documents, the EOW reportedly detained Nayak.

As per reports, the sudden search operation created a stir in the area, though the exact reason behind the raid has not yet been made public by the authorities.

Nayak is a prominent leader of the Opposition BJD and was the party's candidate from the Nimapara Assembly constituency in the last general election. However, he lost the election.
