According to the 10th annual "How India Swiggy'd" report- one of the most authoritative sources on food delivery trends in the country- Indians ordered 93 million biryanis in 2025, solidifying its status as the nation's favorite comfort food.

In 2025, biryani was ordered approximately 194 times per minute, or over three plates every second on the Swiggy platform. This marks a noticeable increase from the previous year, underscoring an even stronger affinity for this dish.
