Bhubaneswar, Jan. 20 -- What began as a birthday celebration ended in devastating tragedy in the early hours of Saturday, when a high-speed car crash on the old Ahmedabad highway in Udaipur claimed four young lives and left several others injured.

The accident occurred around 3 am near Nela Talab in the Savina area, when two cars collided head-on, police said. According to PTI, four teenagers died on the spot, while six others sustained injuries in the crash. The impact left both vehicles mangled beyond recognition.
