At least eight bike lifters were arrested and 23 bikes were seized from their possession as Bargarh police busted a motorcycle theft syndicate allegedly operating across state lines.
The gang, notorious for their skill in utilising master keys to pilfer two-wheelers from the neighbouring state of Chhattisgarh, was successfully tracked down by Bargarh Town police. The alleged mastermind, along with seven accomplices, has been arrested and presented in court.
The Superintendent of Police of Bargarh stated that investigation is on to identify any additional members in this network and to assess the full extent of its operations....
