Bhubaneswar, Jan. 21 -- The East Coast Railway (ECoR) is all set to temporarily augment coaches in several trains in view of the anticipated surge in passenger traffic ahead of the upcoming long weekend and winter travel.

Several trains, including Bhubaneswar-New Delhi Tejas Rajdhani Express, Puri-Howrah Shatabdi and Hirakhand Express, will have the temporary augmentation.

Besides, one additional AC 2-tier coach will reportedly be attached to the Bhubaneswar-New Delhi Tejas Rajdhani Express (22823) on January 23.

Similarly, its return service (New Delhi-Bhubaneswar Tejas Rajdhani Express - 22824) will also get the additional AC 2-tier coach on January 24.
