Bhubaneswar, Dec. 24 -- In an effort to strengthen the education system at the constituency level, the Odisha government has launched the Bidhayak Medha Samman Yojana, a scheme aimed at recognising and rewarding academic excellence, improving school performance, and reducing dropout rates.

The scheme was launched by Higher Education Minister Suryabanshi Suraj during a headmasters' conclave held in Dhamnagar of Bhadrak district.

Addressing the gathering, the Minister said the initiative focuses on improving the overall quality of education in the Dhamnagar Assembly constituency by encouraging students, teachers and educational institutions that demonstrate excellence.
