In good news for commuters, Bhubaneswar will be soon free of stray cattle. In a significant development, the Odisha government has announced plans to construct a model gaushala (cow shelter) in the state capital at an estimated cost of Rs 40 crore.
Urban Development Minister Krushna Chandra Mahapatra informed about the development on Thursday.
The Minister informed that the stray cattle roaming the city will be accommodated in this facility. He also informed that the process of land identification and related formalities in this regard will begin soon.
