Bhubaneswar, Jan. 12 -- Nandankanan road corridor in Bhubaneswar is set for a major facelift with the launch of a dedicated elevated corridor aimed at easing traffic congestion and improving urban mobility. Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi laid the foundation stone of the project on Monday.

The proposed elevated corridor will stretch from Jayadev Vihar to Nandankanan and is expected to significantly streamline traffic movement along one of the city's busiest routes. As part of the project, flyovers will be constructed at major traffic junctions, including Jayadev Vihar Square, Kalinga Hospital Square, Damana Square, and KIIT Square, to ensure smoother and uninterrupted vehicular flow.
