Bhubaneswar, April 13 -- The Commissionerate Police arrested two persons on Saturday for attacking a woman and her father-in-law at Padmakesharipur village on the outskirts of Bhubaneswar.

The arrested persons have been identified as Babula Das and his associate Tapas Das. They allegedly assaulted the victim woman and her father-in-law when they expressed their inability to repay the demanded amount, which is many times more than the actual principal.

The duo was produced in a court today.
