The Odisha government announced this Monday that it is moving ahead with plans for the proposed Bhubaneswar New City project. Further, it has roped in Singapore-based Surbana Jurong (SJ) to prepare the master plan for the new city.

According to The New Indian Express, the global consultancy firm, owned by Temasek Holdings, will design the new urban cluster across 800 acres in Daspur, Gothapatna, Mallipada, and Andharua on the city's outskirts.
