Bhubaneswar, Feb. 24 -- The National Human Rights Commission of Nepal has formally reached out to India's National Human Rights Commission (NHRC), urging an immediate investigation into the demise of a Nepali student at Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) University in Bhubaneswar, Odisha.
The Nepal NHRC has sought an early investigation into the incident of assault and mistreatment of Nepali students studying at the KIIT University in Bhubaneswar after the girl student Prakriti Lamsal was found dead in the hostel of the university, founded by former BJD MP Achyuta Samanta.
