Bhubaneswar, Feb. 20 -- The Biju Patnaik International Airport in Bhubaneswar is all set for a significant upgrade with plans to introduce a third terminal soon.
This development is poised to substantially increase the capacity and efficiency of the airport, which presently operates with terminals 1 and 2.
As per reports, the construction of terminal 3 is slated to begin within 30,000 square meters in the coming two to three months. According to the Airport authorities, the process for this has already been started and the work is likely to start in April 2025. Terminal 3 will have some ultra-modern facilities for the air passengers.
