Bhubaneswar, Jan. 1 -- The Odisha government will undertake a comprehensive redevelopment of the BDA City Centre, popularly known as the 'Nicco Park' in Bhubaneswar, with more than Rs 600 crore to be invested in a three-phase transformation.

The project is aimed at turning the ageing facility into a modern urban recreation hub, informed Housing and Urban Development Minister Krushna Chandra Mahapatra on Thursday. He said the overhaul would begin in 2026 and significantly upgrade public amenities and leisure infrastructure in the city.
