Bhubaneswar, Nov. 2 -- Four persons were arrested in connection with the abduction of a well-known rice mill owner from Baripada in Odisha's Mayurbhanj district on Saturday. Police also seized Rs 8 lakh in cash, firearms, a bike, and a car from the accused.
As per reports, the victim, Sunil Agrawal, a resident of the Station Bazar area in Baripada town, owns Kamdhenu Rice Mill in the Baishinga area. On his way to the mill, he was abducted at gunpoint by four individuals near Padmanabhpur on National Highway No. 18. The kidnappers held him captive and demanded a ransom of Rs 80 lakh.
