India, Feb. 16 -- In a joyful announcement for the residents of Bargarh district, a permanent palace (Raj Mahal) will be constructed for the world's largest open-air theatre, Dhanu Yatra. Odisha government has allocated a fund of more than Rs 12.79 crore for the project, sources said on Sunday.

This was communicated via an official letter from the State Tourism Department. Bargarh MLA Ashwini Kumar Sarangi also shared the information on his 'X' account.

MLA Sarangi has expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi and Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida for their support. He mentioned that this initiative would elevate both the grandeur and prosperity of the globally acclaimed festival.
