India, April 7 -- The people of Odisha would benefit from Ayushman Bharat and Gopabandhu Jan Arogya schemes, both of which will jointly become operational on April 11. After launch, the health cards will be distributed from the same day, official sources said on Monday.
At the heart of this new initiative is the distribution of health benefit cards, with Union Health Minister JP Nadda expected at the state-level launch ceremony to oversee the formal commencement of these health schemes. Plans are in place to distribute these cards at all 1,405 primary health centres (PHCs) across the State.
