A youth allegedly attempted self-immolation in Bhubaneswar on Tuesday, setting himself on fire inside a private college in the Khandagiri area.
According to sources, the incident is suspected to be the result of a family dispute. The victim, a native of Jajpur district, works as an attendant at the college.
Eyewitnesses said the man suddenly set himself ablaze within the campus premises, triggering panic among staff and students. He was immediately rescued and rushed to AIIMS Bhubaneswar in critical condition.
