Bhubaneswar, Feb. 19 -- Bhubaneswar: The annual high school certificate (HSC) examinations conducted by the Board of Secondary Education (BSE) commenced in Odisha today.

This year, altogether 5, 60, 905 students are appearing the exam at 2,888 centres across the State. The gates of the examination centres were opened at 9.20 AM and examinees were allowed to enter the centres. The test began at 10 am when the students were allowed to open the question booklets of MIL (Odia) paper on the first day of the examination today.

In the first phase, the students have been asked to write answer for objective type questions from 10 am to 11 am and subjective type questions from 11 am to 12.30 pm.
