Bhubaneswar, Dec. 14 -- Senior politicians Amar Satpathy and Prabhat Tripathy returned to Bhubaneswar from New Delhi on Saturday, amid speculation over their recent visit to the national capital.

Addressing the media after their return, both leaders said the trip was undertaken for personal reasons. Responding to questions about a possible switch to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Amar Satpathy said no discussions had been held on the matter.

They sought to dispel rumours surrounding their Delhi visit and maintained that there was no political agenda linked to the trip.
