Bhubaneswar, Nov. 29 -- Air travel on several domestic routes may face temporary disruptions as airlines begin implementing a technical directive issued by aircraft manufacturer Airbus for its global A320 family fleet.

Major carriers Air India and IndiGo on Saturday confirmed on X, possible delays and minor schedule adjustments as mandated updates are carried out on their aircraft.

Air India said it is complying with a directive involving software and hardware realignment on a portion of its A320 fleet. The airline noted that the process could result in longer turnaround times, leading to delays on certain services, and apologised for the inconvenience to passengers during the implementation phase.
