Bhubaneswar, June 22 -- Ranjan Kumar Sahoo from Mohammad Nagar Patna village under Jaleswar Tehsil of Balasore district has made the State proud by securing Rank 2 in the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS)- PG Entrance Examination 2019. The result of the entrance test was declared on June 19.
Ranjan appeared for the post graduation entrance after completing MBBS from AIIMS, Bhubaneswar. He scored 99.996 percentile to get through the entrance of the India's top medical institution.
"Initially, I could not believe that I came second and that too among 70,000 to 80,000 doctors across India. This was possible only because of the blessings of my parents, God and my hard work," said an overwhelmed Ranjan.
