Bhubaneswar, Nov. 7 -- As the Nuapada by-election campaign intensifies, an alarming new trend has emerged. Political parties are allegedly using Artificial Intelligence (AI) to create fake photos and deepfake videos aimed at influencing voters and discrediting opponents.

According to sources, several AI-generated visuals are being circulated on social media platforms to boost the image of certain candidates while spreading misinformation about rival parties. The development has triggered confusion among ordinary voters, many of whom find it difficult to distinguish between genuine and fake content.
