Bhubaneswar, Feb. 17 -- Authorities in Puri are enhancing security measures by deploying Artificial Intelligence (AI) cameras that will play a crucial role during the upcoming world famous Rath Yatra festival. This initiative aims to improve the existing management of traffic and crowds during the mega festival that draws lakhs of devotees to Puri every year, said Superintendent of Police.

The AI technology is set to be operational along the National Highway and the culturally significant on Bada Danda or the Grand Road in Puri. Officials are in the process of installing these cameras to ensure the event runs smoothly and safely.
