Two accused, who had escaped from the Gop police station in Odisha's Puri district, were re-arrested by police on Friday. The duo, Krishna Sahu and Suryakant Mohanty, were initially taken into custody for breaking the shutter of a shop and committing theft in Sorisiapada village under the Gop police limits.
However, on the evening of July 29, around 7 pm, both men requested to use the toilet. Once inside, they executed a pre-planned escape by breaking the skylight, which was old and weak.
