A tragic accident turned into a story of hope and humanity when the family of a young man from Odisha's Ganjam district donated his vital organs after he was declared brain-dead in Bengaluru.

The deceased, Suresh Pattanayak, hailed from Sanakholi village under the Aska block in Ganjam district. He was critically injured in an accident and was undergoing treatment at two different hospitals in Bengaluru. After doctors declared him brain-dead, his family took the courageous and generous decision to donate his organs.
