Afghan-Origin Students In Odisha Stare At Uncertain Future As Country Plunges Into Deep Crisis
Bhubaneswar, Aug. 17 -- Amid the ongoing turmoil in Afghanistan following total take over by the Taliban, scores of students from the neighbouring nation studying in Odisha stare at an uncertain future.
The Afghan-origin students in the State are having sleepless nights with their parents and relatives forced to flee the nation or seek evacuation to other countries to escape Taliban governance.
Ehshan Ulla Nuri, a student from Afghanistan presently pursuing MSc in Computer Science at Utkal University in Bhubaneswar, is worried about his parents' whereabouts who live in Kabul.
