Bhubaneswar, Dec. 6 -- Russian President Vladimir Putin received a grand welcome as he landed in India for a two-day visit, with President Droupadi Murmu hosting a lavish feast of a purely vegetarian menu for him in Rashtrapati Bhavan on Friday.
The dinner showcased the rich culinary delicacy of India, presented on a traditional 'thali.'
The curated menu includes Murungai Chaaru, a South Indian rasam (soup), followed by appetisers such as Gucchi Doon Chetin (stuffed morels with Kashmiri walnut chutney), Kaale Chane Ke Shikampuri (pan-grilled black gram kebabs), and Vegetable Jhol Momo with spicy chutney, showcasing the culinary traditions from different parts of India.
