In yet another road mishap involving an 'Ama Bus' in Cuttack, an eight-year-old school girl had a narrow escape after the vehicle ran over her bicycle on Saturday. The incident took place at Sati Choura Traffic Square when the girl, a Class IV student of a local school in Chandinichowk area, was returning home.
According to eyewitnesses, the Ama Bus hit her from behind, causing the girl and her bicycle to fall. While the front wheels of the bus crushed the bicycle and her schoolbag, the girl was flung to the roadside, miraculously escaping serious injury.
