A seven-year-old girl is fighting for her life following an alleged rape in Hindol locality of Dhenkanal district, on Sunday.
According sources,the accused fled after raping the 7-year-old girl and wrapping her in palm leaves. The minor was found unconscious, and her family rescued her after learning about the mishap. The family members found the rape survivor in critical condition and rushed her to Hindol sub-divisional hospital (SDH), before transferring her to Angul district headquarters hospital (DHH) for further treatment after her condition deteriorated.
