Bhubaneswar, Feb. 16 -- Two wild boars were found dead in a well on Monday in Bautiapada village under the Champua forest range of Keonjhar district. It is suspected that the boars might have died after falling into the water body.

According to sources, the animals had entered the village in search of food and accidentally fell into the well belonging to a local resident, Ranjit Behera, in Jyotipur-Bautiapada under the Ukhunda section.

Villagers first spotted the carcasses inside the well and immediately informed the Forest Department. Acting swiftly, forest officials reached the site and recovered the two wild boars' bodies.
