Two trains have been cancelled due to landslides following low-pressure-induced incessant rainfall in Odisha's Koraput district, official sources said on Wednesday.
Normal life in Koraput was thrown out of gear as heavy rainfall triggered by a low-pressure system led to landslides in several areas, thereby affecting train services.
According to East Coast Railway (ECoR) sources, the ECoR cancelled two trains - Jagdalpur-Bhubaneswar Hirakhand Express and Kirandul-Visakhapatnam Night Express - after a portion of the railway track between Koraput and Jeypore was blocked by landslides.
