Bhubaneswar, Nov. 21 -- In a tragic incident, two persons died while six others were critically injured after a tractor in which they were travelling in overturned in Patrapur area under Talagulandi block in Ganjam district on Tuesday.

The identities of the deceased are yet to be ascertained.

According to sources, the victims along with others were en route to a political programme in the tractor when the driver lost control over the steering and the tractor overturned.

Two persons got trapped under the tractor and died on the spot. Six other passengers sustained critical injuries in the mishap. The onlookers rushed the injured to a hospital.
