Bhubaneswar, Feb. 16 -- Due to dry weather prevailing over the districts of Odisha and with no significant synoptic system lying in the region, at least 13 places in the State witnessed the maximum (day) temperatures at 35 Degrees Celsius or above, on Sunday.
Paralakhemundi topped the list as the hottest place reaching 36.6 Degrees Celsius, followed by Jharsuguda 36.2degC, Angul 36.1degC, Bolangir 36degC, Bhawanipatna 36degC, Titilagarh 36degC, Boudh 36degC, Dhenkanal 35.8degC, Sambalpur 35.7degC, Sonepur 35.7degC, Hirakud 35.6degC, Bhadrak 35.5degC, Bhubaneswar 35.4degC, and Baripada 35degC, respectively.
Bhubaneswar is experiencing a surge in the day temperature, with the mercury rising above 35 Degrees Celsius once more.
