A 108 ambulance met with a serious accident near Mahishapat in Dhenkanal on Sunday, leaving the driver and helper critically injured.
According to reports, the ambulance was returning to its base after leaving a patient in Cuttack when it lost balance near Mahishapat and crashed into a tree.
The impact of the collision left the driver and helper seriously injured. Fire Department personnel rushed to the spot, rescued both, and admitted them to Cuttack's SCB Medical College and Hospital for treatment, sources added.
